A new car franchise is coming to the UK. With the backing of the mighty IM Group, Great Wall will arrive in the summer of 2012. Great Wall Motors was founded in 1976 and has developed into a large international company employing over 42,000 staff globally.

In 2010 Great Wall Motors sold over 360,000 units and now feels the time is right to make its debut in the UK.

The Great Wall Motor Company, isone of the few privately-owned Chinese car companies, has designed and built all of the European-bound models specifically to meet EU whole-vehicle type approval standards.

This will ensure that Great Wall models deliver high standards of crash-worthiness, equal to those of modern European and Japanese vehicles.

The first vehicle to be introduced to the UK market is going to be the Great Wall Steed, a value pickup with a real rugged build quality.
